- Local History Club at the Marion Library the third Friday of each month at 3:30 PM.
- Pioneer Day at The Mountain Gateway Museum and Heritage Center on Friday, July 3rd from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM
Your community stories, family histories, and experiences in McDowell matter! There are multiple ways to get involved:
- hosting an event to archive your community group stories or,
- share your own story with one of our trained interviewers,
- invite us to lead a short workshop with your group/community!
